The neXus Chairman of the Board Michael Olsson represented neXus in Almedalen on June 29. He participated in a panel debate about the Digital Single Market of the European Union, which is one of the EU’s key current focus areas.

"The key to successfully build the Digital Single Market is security and integrity. The current low level of integration when it comes to digital identities is still a big obstacle on the path to establishing one Digital Inner Market. It’s also a hindrance for EU citizens who are trying to fully use the capacity of the Internet. The technology is ready and we need to get the legal infrastructure in place to take advantage of the opportunities the technology reveals”, said Michael Olsson.
